Risley Hall is located on the North side of the Cornell Campus on Thurston Ave. near the Fall Creek bridge. (See map below). The Music studio is one floor below the main entrance hallway.

Getting into the building: Because Risley is a residential hall the outside doors are locked except during dinner hours. The preferred method is to walk around to the court yard area on the South side of the building (toward Fall Creek). There is a door leading directly to the Music studio. Knock loudly if it is not open. If you follow someone in through another door, explain you are going to the Music studio if you sense any concern.

Getting to the Music Studio: If you went in the main entrance, go to your left down the entrance hallway. Near the end is a stairway to your right going down.  Follow this around several turns to the left until you can't go down any further.; Follow hallways past soda machines to the Music studio.

Parking: There is a fair amount of on street parking on Thurstan Ave. and nearby roads. The parking lot by the Alumni Affairs building (toward Beebe Lake) often has vacant spaces.
